Energy that works for you
INIT ENERGY is a Ukrainian company combining 30 years of experience in the energy sector with modern renewable energy generation solutions. We specialize in solar power plants and our own SVIT energy storage systems.
What We Do:
We design, build, and integrate solar plants of any capacity — from home-scaled to industrial systems. We handle the complete cycle: project development, equipment selection, installation, and service maintenance.
Why It Matters:
Our clients receive not just a power plant, but a complete energy system that actually reduces electricity spendings, ensures supply stability, and increases independence from the grid.

A Trend Becoming a Standard
Solar energy is growing at an explosive pace. Every year, thousands of households and businesses choose solar power as a reliable source of energy that lowers spendings and enhances independence.
In Ukraine, the installed capacity of solar power plants has more than doubled over the past five years. This trend continues to strengthen — more and more businesses and private customers are switching to renewable energy.

How a Solar Power Plant Works
-
1
Solar Panels
They convert sunlight into electricity. Panels are installed on rooftops or on dedicated structures near a house or facility.
-
2
Inverter
The “heart” of the system. It converts direct current from the panels into alternating current — the type used in household outlets. The inverter can also feed excessive energy back into the external grid.
-
3
Battery Storage
During the day, batteries store excessive electricity generated by the panels. In the evening or during power outages, they provide backup power for your home or office.
-
4
Meter
Records how much electricity the plant produces, consumes, and sends to the grid. It helps you monitor your energy balance.
-
5
Main Power Grid
ПActs as a backup when your own generation is insufficient. At the same time, you can send excessive energy back to the grid.

For savings, independence, and extra income
Our solutions let you forget about outages, reduce costs, and turn solar energy into a stable source of power and profit.
-
For home
A solar power plant provides your home with stable electricity and reduces dependence on tariffs and outages. It’s a solution for autonomy and family comfort.
-
For income
Produce more than you consume. Excess electricity can be sold at the 'green tariff' to earn extra income while saving on your own expenses.
-
For businesses
A solar power plant reduces electricity costs and makes your business more independent. It’s an investment that lowers production costs and protects against rising tariffs.

We have collected answers to the most common questions
-
What components make up a solar power plant?
A typical solar system includes solar panels, inverter, mounting system, cabling, and battery storage, if such is required. We select the equipment individually for your site and energy needs.
-
What is the “Green Tariff,” and how long does it last?
The Green Tariff is a state program that allows you to sell surplus electricity to the grid at a fixed, elevated rate. It is valid in Ukraine until December 31, 2029.
-
What happens after the Green Tariff program ends?
A transition to a Net Billing system (like in EU countries) is expected. You will be able to use your generated electricity for personal consumption and sell the surplus to the grid at a market rate, with credit options for future periods.
-
Will the roof leak after panel installation?
No. We use certified mounting systems suitable for various roof types, ensuring complete waterproofing. Installation is being done carefully, with no risk of damaging the roof.
-
Can solar panels withstand hail?
Yes. Panels are covered with tempered glass designed to resist strong mechanical impacts. By standard, they can withstand hail up to 25 mm in diameter at high wind speeds.
-
Are solar plants profitable for businesses?
Yes. If most consumption occurs during the day, a solar system can cover up to 70% of a facility’s energy needs. Payback period: 3–4 years, depending on tariffs and operation mode.
-
What is the real lifespan of solar panels?
Manufacturers guarantee 25 years of operation with no more than 20% power loss. Practically, high-quality panels last 30–40 years, with an average degradation of 0.5–0.7% per year.
-
How long does installation take?
It depends on capacity and the type of a site: from 2–3 days for small households to 2 weeks for large industrial systems. We plan our work to minimize time and avoid disrupting your processes.
-
Do solar plants work during power outages?
If the system includes batteries and a hybrid inverter, you’ll have backup power. Classic grid-tied systems without batteries automatically shut down during outages, which is a safety requirement.
-
Do panels need cleaning?
In most cases, rain washes away dust and dirt. However, in dry regions or dusty areas, cleaning is recommended 1–2 times a year.
-
What are the equipment warranties?
We work with trusted suppliers from the EU and Asia. Warranty on panels — 10–15 years on equipment and up to 25 years on output performance. Inverters — 5–10 years, depending on the brand.
